Calvary Chapel of Escondido
Well I stopped by as the were building the NEW (permanent) Church, next
door. It was a wood building, early in the building phase, With only five
bucks in my pocket, and need monies for dinner, I went up to the main
foreman, and said, "Hello my name is Briant Siggson, I am a carpenter,
and looking for work". I looked around and everyone was busy as I
wanted to be. He then, turned to his lead man, and asked if they need, I
did not here his reply, so I said to Jim, that I would do anything,
He said that he would take down my telephone number, and get back to me, as
this was going on, in his temporary field office. He said he new my father
Jack Siggson, pasture to my brother in bible studies, and then, when he
first got to California, just married, out of work, and no monies in his
pocket, he met my father, (some 40 years ago), that my father gave him a
job, after explaining, he need work, to support his new family.
It didn't kick in till I got home, and was talking to my mother, about how
I stopped by this church, and this gentle man, talked with me for ten
minutes or more, explaining how he new my family, how gracious my father
was to give him work when he needed it.
My father passed away May 23, 1990, and now reside in the presents our
of Lord.
